chefs - menus of delight
Delightful menus have been created by our five star chef. Chef has taken dishes from all the finest culinary centers around China, and blended them together into a daily lunch menu that deliciously harmonizes and typifies the tastes of the region in question.

 Gastronomy on a grand scale
You'll travel gastronomically from the delicate styles and subtle tastes of Guangdong, across the exotic ingredients and South East Asian influences of Yunnan, through the fiery ebullience and vivid spices of Sichuan, the rich garden and pastoral bounty of Hunan, the Central Asian inspired and unique desert oasis fare of Xinjiang to the earthy delights and cold climate monster vegetables of the far north in Dongbei.

From South East Asia to Siberia

Some dishes you'll create and enjoy according to the season could be 'qing zheng yu', Guangdong steamed fish, 'nan gua zhu gu tang', Dongbei pumpkin and pork rib soup, 'gong bao ji ding', sauted diced chicken with chili and peanuts, 'ban li niu rou' Hunan stewed beef with chestnuts, 'zi ran yang rou', Xinjiang cumin lamb and the charmingly named, 'di san sian', or 'Earth's three angels', Dongbei braised vegetables.

 Take China home with you
We've carefully selected dishes that will not be overly elaborate or intimidating to prepare, as we hope you'll be revisiting them at home. Also taken into consideration are the ingredients and we've avoided a menu that incorporates exotic ingredients that simply wouldn't be available to you outside of China. Our goal through this is that you have a lasting benefit and can not only enjoy your experience here with us but repeat, review, adapt and continue using the fun and healthy cooking methods we'll show you at home. All the fantastically elaborate and exotic dishes that the Chinese revel in will be of course on your menus come dinner time.

Equilibrium is everything

Your lunches will be balanced exactly as the locals would do. Eaten communally and socially, for the Chinese, eating alone would be a cruel and unjust punishment indeed. Typically a lunch will consist of one cold starter or vegetable dish, two hot dishes and the omnipresent and invariably delicious soup. The experience is eye-opening, fun, informative, lasting and of course delicious, enjoy.
